Chevrolet has unveiled a new update to its 2026 Corvette lineup, and it’s all about screens.
The C8-generation Corvette now features a more tech-forward cabin, trading its signature wall of physical buttons for a modern interface spread across three expansive digital displays totaling 33.3 inches.
The makeover brings fresh interior design elements, cutting-edge infotainment tech, and performance tools designed for both everyday driving and track sessions—all while maintaining the iconic performance DNA Corvette fans expect.
This was reported by the magazine Drive.

The biggest change is the addition of a new 6.6-inch touchscreen next to the steering wheel, complementing an upgraded 14-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.7-inch central infotainment screen (up from 12 and 8 inches, respectively).
These screens integrate Google’s Built-In platform, allowing access to apps like Google Chrome, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime Video directly from the dashboard via the Play Store.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support remain, and a wireless smartphone charging pad is now standard, located below the infotainment system.
For audiophiles, there’s a newly designed illuminated volume dial and added USB-C ports for both driver and passenger.
Chevy has removed the vertical stack of physical buttons along the center console, a defining feature of the C8’s original interior.
In its place is a cleaner, more open design with repositioned air conditioning controls and a new drive mode selector.
Settings for the head-up display now live in the infotainment menu, while performance traction controls have taken over the previous HUD panel space.
Other refinements include a passenger grab handle, redesigned cupholders with hand-wrapped inserts, and Corvette flag logos at the base. The upper trim levels (2LT/2LZ and 3LT/3LZ) now sport aluminum accents, and the ZR1 variant gets a carbon-fibre cluster shroud as standard.
The 2026 Corvette lineup introduces bold new interior options, including:
This is the first-ever asymmetrical interior design in Corvette history.
Beyond cosmetic changes, all 2026 Corvette variants now come with the Performance App—previously exclusive to the E-Ray.
It features acceleration timers, a G-force meter, tyre pressure & temperature sensors, and engine vitals display (oil, coolant, and transmission data).
The Performance Data Recorder also receives a resolution boost and enhanced real-time analytics.
The new Performance Traction Management Pro mode allows expert drivers to disable electronic stability and traction control while keeping ABS and front-axle controls active, offering precise handling for track scenarios.
Other notable upgrades include:
While the U.S. will continue offering the Stingray, E-Ray, and Z06 trims, the ZR1 twin-turbo V8 variant remains exclusive to overseas markets for now.
