A lower-spec Nissan Tekton has been spied testing. Evinced by the wheel covers, this is likely to be an Accenta variant, and in an obvious sense, have lesser features as compared to the supposed Tekna Plus model.
The Tekton is Nissan’s version of the recently announced Renault Duster SUV. It will make use of the same engine and underpinnings as its French sibling, but with a Nissan top hat that has been inspired by the Patrol SUV. The car has been revealed in official design sketches, and will be launched in India in early 2026.
This is a very important car for Nissan, as it will take on vehicles like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Victoris, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and the Honda Elevate. It will also spawn a three-row SUV that will be launched in 2027.
